So, here is my promised post from this last weekend. There is alot of pictures, so bear with me, this should be fun, fun, fun!
This is the beginning of our trip, waiting for the bus to take us to downtown Seattle. The boys and I take the bus in town alot, but never for a long period of time. I think it took about forty-five minutes to get to Seattle. But, I am happy to say, they did great!

We just got off the bus and were making for the Space Needle. Liam was excited and being silly.

I wanted a fun, "artsy" picture of the boys in front of the Space Needle. I think I managed it! When Liam asked me what the Space Needle was (I kept telling him we were heading for the Space Needle), and I pointed it out to him, he said, "Oh. You mean that water tower?" So funny!

This photo-op station is at the front door of the Seattle Childrens Musuem, but we didn't actually take the picture until we were leaving. My friend Amy took the picture while I held David up!

Liam climbing through the hollow log:

David's turn!

There was so much to do and see at the museum. A big "mountain" to hike up, cultural exhibits, art rooms, a "grocery store", a theater, a story room and much, much more. We went there for Liam's friend, Noah's 5th birthday party and the party was fun too! We sure did enjoy our time at the museum, but it was soon time to get going! We had a long walk to the ferry!
Liam resting during the walk. It really was a long way for a little boy, but he did great!

Finding these pigs near Pike's Place Market was a nice diversion from the walk:

On the ferry at last! Liam enjoyed watching us pull out.

At Nana and Grandpas! Here's David, trying to find a way through the new rail my Dad put on the front porch:

Oh, it's finally Apple Time!!!!!

The spiders are out in force and I managed to get a couple really good pictures of them and their webs. This one is my favorite. I actually like garden spiders, provided they stay outside and off me!

David loves climbing on things and balancing. At Nana's, it was this rock. Notice the grin of delight on his face....(check back soon for a picture of what he balanced on here at home the other day):

Liam also loves the rock. For him, it's a place to sit and imagine fighting off the bad guys.

Gorgeous, beautiful, plentiful apples. You should see all the apples on the trees! I think we should have an apple picking/cider party on the fourth of october (as an extension of my birthday party! Which I am so excited for--- a tea-party with "the girls": mom, faith and Pam!)

Dad and I took the boys to a new park in town while my mom was working:

We also got ice cream, right after visiting my mom at the quilt store she works at. Liam was so kind to share some of his cone with his brother:

We had a great time, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and got some much needed R&R!!!!
