My brother came over to watch the boys and hang out today and of course, I had to get a picture of him and Heidi!

It's a GIRL!

Heidi Anne was born October 9th 2010 at 4:52pm. She's 7 pounds, 15 ounces and 19 inches long!
She is absolutely beautiful!
I will get pictures up as soon as I can access my own computer....I am currently on strict bed rest for a week or two to try and NOT prolapse this time.

Simple Times

 Liam was giving David a "horsey ride" this afternoon and when I noticed that David was wearing Liam's old cowboy boots, I couldn't help taking a picture. It was so cute!

















Also, we've had several new additions to our bird feeder over the last few days. It began with the chickadees. Then a Nuthatch appeared. Yesterday we saw a slightly larger bird but haven't identified it yet, and it's been too shy to get a picture (flies away whenever anyone goes near the door), and then today, I spotted this little fella:

It's been SO much fun getting to have birds right out on my porch. This morning, David and I sat at the table and quietly watched them getting their breakfast while we ate ours. Lovely.

And, I've managed to get J week up on time over on Liam's blog, so make sure to check it out, we did some new and different letter projects this week!

Autumn Table

I found the pumpkins the other day while re-organizing my closet and just HAD to use them to pretty up my table. So, I grabbed a large piece of lace from my sewing stash and rounded up things around my house that remind me of Autumn. I have since added a few more things, so here's some beginning and now pictures:

Very Preggo

Well, this will probably be the last pictures I get of me pregnant this time around. Being due on Monday makes it seem likely that I won't get around to taking any more before Baby comes.

I realized tonight that what Jonny keeps saying about me "looking like your about to explode" must be true. Just about everyone I saw at church tonight said something along the lines of "my goodness, you must be close."

My head pastor, Nate, had my favorite reaction of the night: "ooooohhhh, Jennifer"

So, what do you think? Do I look like I have a bomb in my stomach? Ha ha ha:

Bird Feeder

Jonny and the boys got me a bird feeder and seeds for my birthday! We set it up last night and today the chickadees found it. It has been so fun to sit at the table and watch them!

The cat discovered the birds this afternoon. It was hilarious to watch him: tail twitching like mad and him mewing like a kitten. If you click on the picture below, you might be able to see the chickadee sitting on the bike tire. I could have sworn he was taunting Sal....

And isn't the blue sky and green pine trees just a gorgeous backdrop? I love October weather around here!

Fun Times

We've been having fun the last few days. You can find two new posts on Liam's Page. His I week and a story he wrote. Check it out!

Here's some of the other things we've done.

During school time, David often wants to be in on the action. This time, I let him use Liam's scissors on a piece of construction paper. He had a blast, especially taking a picture of his "project".

David keeps bringing me my camera, saying "Pic-r, mommy. Pic-r"
This time, I obliged him and took a picture of us together.

On the morning of September 30th, Liam informed me that it was Peter Rabbit's birthday. I figured I'd go with it and we planned a birthday party. Liam made a card, found "presents" from his toys and we made a yummy, moist carrot cake, which we ended up sharing with my inlaws.
