I was in downtown Kingston with my dear friend Pamela, having an hour of much needed KID-LESS girl time. We were just wandering and talking.
Came across this cross walk sign in our meanderings and couldn't resist snapping a picture. It appeals to me on so many levels. Take a look:
I see all sorts of "upgraded" traffic signs. The red nose on the deer crossing. Letters added to words. But this... this was the most unique and clever of them all in my opinion. I know! I've NEVER seen a hula hooper! And is that foliage too? Teehee!
Very odd indeed. I don't see too many altered road signs anymore, but for a while, someone was making large stickers that were the same red shade as stop signs, and printing STOP backwards on them in white, then sticking them over the word STOP on the signs.
I think I have seen one like this. There are one or two signs that make me laugh even when not altered.
