It is a pleasantly quiet and quaint bit of earth, full of northwest native plants and trees, and also sculptures and fountains and even a gazebo. It is beautiful.

at the arboretum
Tucked away in northern Everett is a lovely little spot called The Everett Arboretum, nestled at the opposite end of the parking lot from Legion Park. We discovered this place a couple years ago, sadly in the winter. A couple weeks ago, the boys and I went back...
It is a pleasantly quiet and quaint bit of earth, full of northwest native plants and trees, and also sculptures and fountains and even a gazebo. It is beautiful.

I don't remember you telling me about visiting this place. Do you remember visiting the arboretum in Conneticut when we were back east? They are definitely peaceful places.
