He's a Red Heeler/Australian shepherd mix...and will probably end up being between 30 and 50 pounds depending on which parent he takes after more.
It's exciting to have a pet in the house again, and especially a dog---this is the first dog Jon and I have had together. The kids are super happy and have needed a lot of calming and direction but they are doing really good. So is he. He has a very calm demeanor but can also be quite feisty too!

Congrats on your puppy! We got another lab puppy a couple years ago, after we had to put our old guy out to pasture after almost 13 years. Daisy is a sweetheart and quickly became a member of the family. I wish you all well in puppy training. I thought I'd lose it there for a little while, but the time went quickly. I think being home with her so much helped. :)
