400 posts and then some

Somehow or another, in the past few months, in the midst of being newly pregnant (and quite sick), and all, I failed to notice that my blog was creeping up on it's 400th post.

This is post number 409.

That's a lot of life, thoughts, pictures and blurbs shared. A lot of time depicted.

Silly, random thought: the grease stain on my pants from while I was stir-frying carrots for dinner and one jumped the pan looks a lot like a wee little foot print. Makes me excited for October. I have to admit, I am hoping for a girl.....but will love a boy if it turns out to be. I can't imagine having three boys running around my house, but then, I have a hard time imagining a girl as well.

Housesitting Vacation

We went and house sat for my parents for a week while they took a vacation to Maui. It was a nice little vacation for the boys and I as well!
We played lots with Pam and her family, enjoyed visiting with my brother and sister in law, experienced a big wind storm which made the power go out for two days! We also had a couple adventures just the three (well, four really) of us....we went to the Marine Science Center and explored the new trail that has been made just minutes away from my parents house!
I seem to be in a pretty major picture taking slump, and only took a few while there, but here are some of them:
Liam took out the vacuum all by himself the first day! So nice!
This amazing hollow stump is on the new trail near my parents house. It was a big hit with the boys!
More from the trail:
The boys had both sacked out for a late nap:

blog hiatus

I know, I know....I made a big announcement and then disappeared from blogger-land. I am sorry. I have been very sick (1st trimester is always hard on me and this time has been no exception)...and to make matters worse, I've been completely void of blogging inspiration and have been lacking the desire to do much of anything except sleep. I am so far behind on my picture taking too. It's crazy.

Liam's birthday was great. We spent the late morning/afternoon at the Children's Museum here in town with one of Liam's good friends and his family. And we had the Butcher side of the family over in the evening for dinner, cake and presents. Then over the weekend after, me and the boys went to my parents house. So nice!

Well, that's about it for my update...thanks for having patience with me!
