Don't you just love this picture? It is my current favorite!
I have been pretty busy with a furry newborn (which, I have discovered is very much like having a human newborn. Lots of work with very little sleep), and haven't been blogging much. But life is happening and days are ticking off at the speed of light. Little Rusty is getting big (going on 10 pounds now.....SO curious to see how big he ends up-----could be between 30-60, which is such a huge ratio), and the kids are getting big(just bought Liam new shoes today----size 3 1/2!!!!!). Our house is a wreck and I have big plans to organize and simplify....but lets be honest, it probably won't happen.
The weather's warming up and I am so, so, so grateful. Winter/cold gets harder and harder for me each year. The kids talk almost daily about the pool and I keep having to remind them it doesn't open until the end of the month. They can't wait. Honestly, with how much fun we had there last year, neither can I.
School's kind of been put on the back burner since the puppy arrived....we've read books and done math here and there but mostly not and honestly.....it's okay. We're having summer break a little early this year and with the weather being super nice a ton lately, it's been nice to drop everything, give Rusty some kennel time and head outside.
