Baseball Date

Last Thursday, Jon asked me if I wanted to go to an Aquasox baseball game. Just he and I. I said I sure did and found a babysitter for the kids (thanks Nicole!).
We had a lot of fun. It was super cold.....especially for late June and we were rained on for a little while, but we got to see a beautiful rainbow and pretty nice sunset too. It was quite fun.

Project 52: Painting Rocks

We get the Family Fun magazine and in the most recent edition, they introduced their Badges of Fun program. Sounded like a ton of fun.
The first Badge is the "Backyard Fun" Badge. A little tricky for those of us without back yards (we live in an apartment currently...), but thankfully they offered plenty of options for those of us without.
We chose to paint rocks and tackled the project today. It was fun and messy!
Here's my Project 52 shot, followed by a collage of a few others. Enjoy!

a little bit of this and that...

I have been in a total blogging funk lately. It's not that nothing is happening.....I just dont seem to have the words to write......and seem to only think about blogging when it's bad timing.

Oh well....

We've been having fun this last month. We're finally all mostly better....just dealing with the seasonal allergy annoyances now.
We finally made it over to my parents to have our Tron day. It was great. The day was gorgeous, so we spent some time outside before settling down to Tron and Tron:Legacy. The boys loved playing on the new gravel pile and my parents made them a rope swing which was a big hit too.......(the cookies in the bottom right are Identity Disks!)

We just celebrated David's 3rd birthday on Saturday with a breakfast party with the inlaws. I was a bad parent and didn't take any pictures at the party, but here are a few of the boys enjoying cupcakes the next morning before church:

And, lastly, here are all three kids.....all getting so big.....

Project 52: standing

My little girl is standing! It feels so soon! She has not figured out walking yet (for which I am grateful), but it's really only a matter of time.
She also has a very bad habit, which I allowed her to indulge in for the time it took to take the picture. Can you guess what it is?

We usually keep all shoes away from my little "puppy"....but sometimes she manages to find them and then she munches happily......ICK.
So now that she's crawling, standing and climbing up on (and sometimes OVER) everything, I have been forced to use bins, boxes, a cooler, the stroller and anything else I can think of as barriers to keep her away from the things she shouldn't get into.....like her daddy's computer.
.......whew, I need a nap just talking about it.....ha ha

Cowboys, rice "mum-mums" and other stuff

I haven't been good at blogging lately.  I got super sick..........well, I wasn't doing well at blogging before that even. What can I say? My hearts not been in it lately. That's my only excuse.

We're keeping busy here. Waiting on the weather to catch up with the time of year it is. Today was pretty good. Sunshine and warm. We went to the park!

Some other things we have been up to, in no particular order:

We had some cowboy's show up......

Liam made a puzzle in school:

Pierce spent the night (actually, is spending the night):

And I bought some "baby mum-mums" for Heidi. She likes them:

Project 52: Children's Museum

About a week ago, I was given 4 free tickets to our local Children's Museum. We love the place, but it's kind of expensive and so we don't go very often. Needless to say, we were stoked. Heidi's still free, so I invited a friend of mine and also my sister in law and nephew, who have a membership.

We had a blast. The kids had a ton of fun. There will be more than one picture today, hope that's okay!
